Aspects to consider when choosing a breaker

2019 01/02

The power source of the breaker is an excavator and a loader, which can more effectively clean the mud in the floating stones and rock gaps in the function of excavating the foundation of the building. When choosing a breaker, you need to consider the following aspects:
First, the weight and bucket capacity of the excavator.
Full consideration of the weight of the excavator can prevent the excavator from tipping over due to the excessive weight of the breaker when the boom is fully extended. The excessively large breaker may cause the excavator to tip over, too small to fully utilize the excavator. Efficacy, but also accelerate the damage of the breaker, only the weight of the two can match the full effect of the excavator and breaker.
Second, the working flow and pressure of the hydraulic breaker.
The working flow of different sizes of hydraulic breakers is different. The flow of small hydraulic breakers can be as small as 23L per minute, while the large hydraulic breakers can reach more than 400L per minute. When selecting a hydraulic breaker, the flow requirement of the hydraulic breaker must be consistent with the output flow of the excavator backup valve. The flow rate determines the operating frequency of the hydraulic breaker, that is, the number of impacts per minute, and the flow rate is proportional to the number of impacts. When the output flow of the excavator backup valve is greater than the required flow of the hydraulic breaker, the hydraulic system will generate excessive heat, causing the system temperature to be too high and reducing the service life of the component.
Third, the structure of the hydraulic breaker is on-board.
Hydraulic breakers currently have three of the most common designs, including triangle, right angle and silent.
Triangular and right-angled styles usually use two thick steel splints to protect the sides of the hammer. This structural design has no protection for the front and rear of the hydraulic breaker. Their disadvantage is that it is more noisy than the silent hammer of the same tonnage. The steel plates on both sides are easy to loose or crack, and the protection of the hammer is not good.
The structure of the silent breaker is that the outer casing completely encloses the hammer body, and the outer casing is provided with a vibration damping material, which can reduce the vibration of the carrier while generating a buffer between the hammer body and the outer casing, and has the advantage that the hammer can be operated during work. The body provides better protection, low noise, reduced vibration of the carrier, and also solves the problem of loose housing, which is also the mainstream and development trend of the global market.
